CMKA 2008 Banquet Program (posted 11/13/08)

For those of you who didn’t make it to the banquet or just need to print an extra program, here is an electronic version for you! Note: It isn’t necessarily in a logical order when you look at it online because it is meant for printing two-sided for programs. If you want to keep your eyes from crossing, you might want to print it! :0)

Votes have been cast & decisions made at 2008 CMKA Banquet (posted 11/13/08)

At the 2008 CMKA Banquet, voting was done on two topics that initiated at our Membership meeting back in August - whether to go to a tire spec rule and what to do about trophies for our adult classes.

After discussing the tire spec programs offered by Burris, Vega, and Hoosier, the members decided NOT to go with any tire spec rule at this time. Thank you to our contacts at these manufacturers who helped us pull together the information to consider for our 2009 racing season.

Discussion also took place regarding trophies for our adult classes. After much discussion, the members voted to have season plaques that will hold all place plates for a season. Some first place trophies will also be kept on hand for non-members racing at CMKA. The CMKA board members will look into options over the winter for accomplishing this for the 2009 racing season.

3 Open Board Positions filled (posted 8/11/08)

At the 8/9/2008 Membership Meeting, 3 open board positions were filled. Congratulations to newly elected board members Scott Borst and Buddy Reimer! Congratulations to Jim Koenig on being re-elected to the board! A big thanks to Dave DeMenge, Jim Koenig and Mike Hamre for their past service on the board.

Saturday, August 9th - 2008 Membership Meeting and Potluck (posted 8/6/08)

On Saturday we will have our annual membership meeting to discuss topics on how to improve our track and elect board members for open board positions. Potluck starts at 12:30 p.m., membership meeting at 2:00 p.m. Bring a dish to share and ideas for any changes you would like to see made at CMKA! All members welcome at the meeting!

There will be points racing at the normal time. Aamco Transmissions will be sponsoring racing that night, with prizes for drivers and spectators!

Sad News - CMKA Member Passes Away (posted 4/2/2008)

It is with great sadness that we pass along the news of the death of a CMKA member and sponsor. Warren Wolf passed away on Monday, March 31st. Our deepest condolences go out to the Wolf family. Warren and his family have always been great supporters and sponsors of our track. Warren will be missed.
